圣诞老人是圣诞节的象征，传说中的圣诞老人会在圣诞前夜驾着由驯鹿拉的雪橇，将礼物送到千家万户。然而，随着人类社会的不断进步，已经没有什么人再相信这个流传了很久的传说，没有人再相信圣诞老人的存在了。然而，小男孩克劳斯却不这么认为，尽管他的父母和周围的朋友都告诉他圣诞老人只不过是个虚构的人物，他本身根本就不存在，但克劳斯却坚持相信圣诞老人的存在，他知道只有相信圣诞老人真的存在的人才能听到小铃铛清脆的响声。

剧中的小男孩与那个多才多艺的小女孩看到一个孤独的小小的身影站在北极特快车的车箱尽头，空中隐约传来了一阵悦耳的歌声。两个小朋友循声找去，小女孩和那个孤单的小男孩合唱了《When Christmas Comes to Town》。

当小孩子长大后回忆起儿时在这个一年当中最重要的夜晚，心中的兴奋与期盼，或许也想起年幼心灵第一次的疑虑，这才发现长大之后，可能会失去珍贵又难以意会的童贞；这是大人无法定义、却又曾经感同身受的感觉。
希望人们长大之后不会变得太愤世嫉俗，什么事都不相信了。圣诞节的初衷是给人温馨和无私的感觉，而圣诞老人是圣诞节的象征，可是不必相信他的存在就能感觉到了。

这是一首很好听的歌，可爱的童声，能让你想起童年时的天真与梦想。
