Shield Spell
Shield exclusive skill. Evokes magic specific abilities based on your shield defense, magic defense, and refine rate.
Cast time: 1 second
Aftercast Delay: 1 second
Cooldown: 2 seconds
Target: Self
Requires a shield.
[Level 1] : Evokes magic based on shield defense
[Level 2] : Evokes magic based on shield magic defense
[Level 3] : Evokes magic based on shield upgrade level
Notes:
Casts one random predefined spell based on the currently equipped Shield's defense (not including refines), magic defense, and upgrade level accordingly.
Only one skill from Shield spell can be active at any time. Successfully casting another skill from Shield Spell including offensive ones will remove any other Shield Spell Buff.
Level selectable.
Buffs casted from Shield Spell are not canceled when the shield is unequipped. It will last for the full duration or until...
1)The user is dispelled by Dispell/Battle Chant/Hermode's Rod/Inspiration
2)The user casts another skill from Shield Spell.
3)The user dies.
Level 1 spells: Success rate currently unknown.
Attack buff that increases EquipATK by ShieldDEF (does not count upgrades). Duration = (Shield Def)*3 seconds
7x7 AoE physical damage that also knocks enemies back. (Varies with Shield DEF 900~1700% atk)
Reflect buff that reflects (ShieldDEF/2)% of physical melee damage. (Works similar to Reflect Shield and returns the damage to the attacker. Can be used with Reflect Damage. The amount of reflect this skill causes is capped at the user's max hp). Duration = ?
Level 2 spells: Success rate = (20%*Shield mdef).
Magnificat. Duration = (Shield MDEF)*30 seconds
7x7 AoE magic damage. (Varies with Shield's mDEF for up to 1000% Matk)
7x7 AoE Silence. Duration = ?
Level 3 spells: Success rate = 5%*(shield refine).
Self buff that increases EquipDEF by 10.5*(shield refine). Duration = (Shield Refine)*20 seconds
Self heal that heals you for (11+(upgrade level))% of your MAX HP)
Full Chemical Protection Buff (Confirmed that this is NOT FCP. Still a mystery to what this buff does.) Duration = (Shield Refine)*30 seconds |
