Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti will try again for Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon in January.
Moratti was turned down by Buffon over the summer, but is determined to land a quality goalkeeper for coach Roberto Mancini during the winter market.
On the table is a £15 million offer for Juve and a £4 million-a-year deal for Buffon to consider.
The stumbling block for Inter, apart from Buffon's reluctance, is city rivals AC Milan.
It's been revealed Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani met with Juve supremo Giovanni Cobolli Gigli yesterday. Galliani admitted earlier this week they will sign a top quality replacement should Dida fail to sign new terms.
