英国著名乐队绿洲(Oasis)成立于上世纪90年代初的曼彻斯特，从乐队成立至今，共发行过六张录音室专辑，一张现场专辑，一张B面歌曲集。据统计，Oasis乐队在全世界各国专辑的总销量累计已经超过四千万张。
这张名为《Stop The Clocks》的精选集将于今年11月20日正式发行,这是乐队的第一张精选集, 共收录了18首歌曲，其中包含了乐队出道至今的多首名曲和B面歌曲。
据Oasis乐队的发言人说：这张精选集中的歌曲全部都是由乐队成员亲手挑选的，而这些歌曲也是他们认为最能够代表乐队辉煌音乐生涯的作品。如1994年Oasis发行的首张专辑《Definitely Maybe》中的名曲《Supersonic》以及乐队1995年发行的专辑《(What's The Story)Morning Glory》中的《Wonderwall》都已经被选入了这张《Stop The Clocks》当中,除此之外，Oasis去年发行的新专辑《Don't Believe The Truth》中的主打单曲《The Importance Of Being Idle》和被称为“史上最优秀B面歌曲”的《Acquiesce》以及“The Royle Family”的主题曲《Half The World Away》都被选入到了这张精选集中。毫无疑问，如果你是Oasis的Fans，或者你很喜欢Indie Rock，这绝对是一张不应该错过的优秀大碟。
